Artist statement: "This artwork represents the song "Book of Mormon Stories" and some of the major Book of Mormon stories throughout the book of scripture. I used digital art, and wanted to center it around the children's song often learned in primary. I loved the idea of having an artwork about the Book of Mormon that is also connected to music as that brings us closer to the Spirit as well. The stories depicted in the artwork are: Nephi's family leaving the wilderness, Nephi getting the plates, the tree of life vision, finding the Liahona, traveling to the promised land, Enos praying, King Benjamin teaching his people, Abinadi, Alma baptizing people, Gideon and King Noah on the tower, Alma the younger, Ammon defending the king's flock, burying weapons of war, the title of liberty, the stripling warriors, Samuel the lamanite, the sign of Christ's birth, destruction of cities, Christ visits the Nephites, Christ calls 12 disciples, Brother of Jared sees God, the Jaredites travel to the promised land, the golden plates are buried, and Joseph Smith finds the golden plates."
