Artist statement: "In this painting I’ve depicted an abstracted scene where, following the Lamanite queen having a vision, Abish helps her to her feet. Abish, being a brave and faithful woman, recognized that the queen and her household were having a strong, spiritual conversion and vision from God, and went to tell the people about the good news. Despite the risk of them not believing her, she brought the other Lamanites to see and witness God’s goodness. Abish is a powerful missionary, and I hope to be as brave and faithful as her."
