Notes

Artist statement: "Aminadab Being Encircled About by Betsy Richardson, Psychology major. Aminadab is an underrated hero of the Book of Mormon who represents those who dissent from Christ then return. When he sees the pillar of fire encircling Nephi and Lehi, he calls those who are lost in darkness to look upon them and repent. I like to think Aminadab, a dissenter, felt something familiar stirring inside of him as he saw them, and ultimately felt the full power of Christ once again when he was encircled about by his own pillar of fire. I depicted that scene in my art, hoping to convey the peace and relief he felt in being converted once again."
