Instagram caption 7/6/2024 "In defending the king’s flocks from bandits, Ammon demonstrated that rare yet treasured commodity to royals: true loyalty. Not only did he demonstrate God’s power in this act but he also showed King Lamoni that he honoured him and his stewardship. In a modern egalitarian context, we don’t quite grasp the meaning of this. But to King Lamoni Ammon’s actions demonstrated incredible character and honour. This would soften his heart to hear the gospel’s message."
