Plant and Landscape Systems major, BYU. Artist statement: "When Christ visited the Americas, he revealed that if we are to be saved, we must become as little children (3 Nephi 11:17). In 3 Nephi 17, Christ invites all the little children to come unto Him so he could bless and pray for them, all being ministered to by the angles of heaven. This scene has always been a personal favorite as it shows exactly what becoming "a little child" can bring to my life. "As a Little Child" is a carved ceramic sculpture, glazed white, with added plant details."
