Notes

Pre-graphic Design major, BYU. Artist statement: "My artwork represents the faithful disciples of the ancient Americas when Christ descended to visit them. It's meaningful to me because this chapter helped me understand that Jesus Christ knows every person of all languages, cultures, and backgrounds perfectly. I created this artwork digitally through the illustration app called Procreate and used a variety of brushes and textures as well as vibrant, joyous colors to bring this pivotal moment to life. I gave my depiction of what the people might have worn in their culture and gave each of them expressions of shock, gratitude, and amazement upon seeing their personal Savior for the first time. Every time I read this chapter I'm filled with joy and excitement for when I will see the Savior one day, and I hope those feelings come across through this artwork as well."
