Artist statement: "This piece depicts the conversion of Alma the Younger as he struggled for 3 days. I consider this to be an underrepresented scene as there are very few depictions of the conversion of Alma the Younger and none that I've seen that include this aspect of the story. Alma the Younger has always been my favorite person from the Book of Mormon. His conversion story in Mosiah 27 and Alma 36 is so inspiring to me as it testifies that there is no sin that we can't be forgiven of."
