Artist Statement: This work is the second of the series 344, and is called "in the abyss" is made in the paper cutting technique, with Fabriano paper. It shows the moment when the Jaredite ship is at the lowest point, completely submerged. The red color refers to the limit situation and the feeling of anguish and despair that sometimes invades us, until, like them, we are rescued from the depths "I testify to you that the promised blessings are incalculable. Though the clouds may roll in, though the rains may descend upon us, our knowledge of the gospel and the love we have for our Heavenly Father and our Savior will comfort and sustain us, and give joy to our hearts as we walk uprightly and keep the commandments.
