Journalism major, BYU. Artist statement: "I used traditional LDS prints overlaid with magazine clippings to show a different representation of Eve than is usually portrayed. In the background, the outline of Eve and Adam is shown from a painting by Lowell Bruce Bennett in the Primary manual. On top of that is a clipping of a woman nursing her child. Eve's role in the Garden of Eden and afterwards is often minimized or misunderstood. I wanted to show her as a powerful partner, mother, and decision maker."
