Artist statement: "Here I wanted to depict the profound strength and quiet faith of the mothers who raised the stripling Lamanite warriors. The image captures a moment of deep intergenerational love, where the wisdom and faith of the older generations are passed down, not through grand gestures, but through quiet, tender moments. The two older women, their eyes closed in contemplation and prayer, represent the unshakable faith that formed the foundation of the young warriors' courage. Their weathered faces speak of lives marked by hardship, endurance, and devotion, yet they exude a peaceful strength that comes from trust in something greater than themselves."
