Notes

Artist statement: "The Book of Mormon tells the tale of the Nephites, from the first (Lehi and Nephi) to the last (Mormon and Moroni). I have thought quite a lot about what it would mean to, quite literally, be the "last of your people." Moroni wandered the continent for perhaps decades as the final Nephite after a series of violent wars that wiped out his people. In this piece, I strove to depict the vastness of the Earth and of the eternities and one man's small moment within as he finds himself a lone survivor. His people are no more, and he is left to wander and, eventually, find a place to store the record of his lineage."
