Notes

Artist statement: "I used a new medium to me, digital art. This work has three paper boats to represent Hagoth's courage to build ships, move his people out of danger, and to go back to save more people. He and his people were lost at sea, but we can still see the remnants of their people in all the Islander people. In the corner of each boat, there is a scallop shell, which represents the pathway one must take, that each person has their own journey, but that we are all on one road."
