Artist statement: "This is an illustration which was created for 'Looking Forward to the Messiah: An Advent Devotional for Families' by Nicole Clark (Popcorn Tree Books). It depicts a scene of an individual/individuals from Book of Mormon times who looked forward to Jesus Christ's birth the way we currently anticipate the magic of Christmas day and Jesus Christ's second coming.
