Art major, BYU. Artist statement: "I am still developing my voice as an artist, but nature and Gods creations are my greatest inspiration. I love the mountains as a symbol of my journey in faith and find them frequently abstracted in my work. I always see paintings of Christ, but I find I cannot begin to paint God when I cannot see Him with my natural eyes. I want Gods presence in my work though, so the light of Christ also represents Gods glory shining through Him not just from Him. I love standing in front of this painting myself and pondering what it would be like when He came, when He comes, but also how I am striving to come unto Christ now."
