Art major, BYU. Artist statement: "This piece is a non-traditional representation of one of the mothers and sisters of a Stripling Warrior, sending him off to battle, trusting that the Lord will bring him home. I've always been inspired by the mothers of the Striplings Warriors and their undoubting trust in the Lord and His promises. Even when we can't see the possibility of promised blessings coming to pass, we can rest assured that He is mindful of our fears, our anxieties, our worries, and every step to make those blessings a reality for us. Digital art, August 2023, made for 11"x17" prints."
