Artist statement: "The black square in the lower right corner is Abish as she's running from house to house along the outer blue boundary path to gather the people (8 black squares inside the outer path) to see the king and queen (2 black squares inside the inner blue walls) having their vision of Jesus. The king's servants are the 6 black squares outside of the boundary walls. It's a story of inclusion, but not equity, as royalty, commoners, and servants all joined together in worship while still maintaining their social boundaries."
