Artist statement: "I often think about the concept of meeting with the savior face to face at the end of this mortal life to give an accounting. I think of those Book of Mormon witnesses who say they will be waiting for the reader, to testify of their words. I think of Moroni, who in his last written witness gives his promise that he will see us again. I often wonder at his words “ I soon go to rest in the paradise of God, until my spirit and body shall again reunite, and I am brought forth triumphant through the air, to meet you before the pleasing bar of the great Jehovah, the Eternal Judge of both quick and dead.” I hope that I can stand as such a witness of Christ, both in life and in the eternity to come."
