Notes

Artist statement: "In this piece, I wanted to portray Ether as he is in hiding. This part of his history unfortunately happens to take place during the never-ending wars that plagued the Jaredites, and it's very interesting to study the parallels between Ether and Moroni or even Mormon too. I sometimes wonder if part of the reason that Moroni included the Jaredite history is because he could relate to Ether and had a good idea of what he experienced during that time of his life. I greatly admire the courage and grit that both men show in the face of overwhelming tragedy, sadness and hopelessness that they endured."
