Throughout the “Come, Follow Me” readings this week Jesus Christ heals the people around Him. Although these were mostly physical infirmities, He also healed those struggling mentally and spiritually. He did the same thing when He visited the Nephites in ancient America. He asks in 3 Nephi 17:7, “Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither. Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or leprous, or that are withered, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them, for I have compassion upon you; my bowels are filled with mercy.” He can similarly heal us from the burdens and afflictions that we face in our lives, as we turn to Him with faith.
