Notes

“After years of gathering an extensive collection of authentic miniatures and cabin frame, then combining them with hand-finishing touches, such as a hand-set stone chimney, needlework, and so on, I have created an early Latter-day Saint house. This cabin represents the values that Latter-day Saint homes share in all generations. The scriptures are displayed, and the love of family, nurturing, provision, and an appreciation of lovely things—even in humble circumstances—are represented. Every Latter-day Saint home is blessed, as long as the following principle from Joshua 24:15 is lived: ‘As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.’ ” —Judy Atkinson
