"In 1840 Wilford Woodruff embarked on an extremely fruitful mission to England. A prosperous farmer, John Benbow, and his family and friends were Woodruff's first converts in Herefordshire. Elder Woodruff baptized more than six hundred individuals in the pond at the Benbow farm."
