Artists statement: "Jacob Hamblin was an early Utah pioneer who was a great leader and a friend to the local Native Americans. He built this home near the Santa Clara River and it is still there today restored as a pioneer-life visitor center for the LDS Church. An orchard of pink blossoms explodes in color each Spring which is a delight for visitors."
