Notes

"With the restoration of the Church, the saving ordinances of the temple began to be carried out in Kirtland and Nauvoo. This has continued in scores of other temples, such as in the temple in Mexico City that is depicted here. In the temple the Saints have the opportunity to be sealed for eternity and to learn how to attain eternal life, thus fulfilling God's words: "For behold, this is my work and my glory––to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (Moses 1:39)."
