Notes

Description from artist website: "Far West, Missouri was a growing and bustling frontier town founded by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Though little remains today of what it used to be, this scene is my rendition of how it may have looked in 1838. I wanted to show the excavated future temple site, the school and the growing businesses, along with the many log cabins and tents making up the settlement. Estimates make the population at that time to be around 6,000 – 12,000."
