“My quilted fabric work is based on Greg Olsen’s painting of the same name. It is constructed of cotton fabric, beads, and silk flowers. Three dimensional leaves and flowers in the foreground provide texture and add depth to the overall appearance. I have used the techniques of machine appliqué and machine quilting.” —Phyllis D.
