Al Rounds Fine Art Studio: "This painting depicts Joseph Smith in the field telling his father of the visit and message of Angel Moroni in September 1823. Joseph was reluctant to tell his father, but at the repeated command of Moroni and encouragement of “he will believe every word” Joseph did so. His father was willing to set down the tools and the pressures of the day and listen. And he did believe."
