Accompanied by excerpt from artist: "The St. George Temple was built by stalwart pioneers and dedicated in 1877. We were present when it was remodeled and re-dedicated in 1975. It was closed for 4 years for re-modeling and re-dedicated again in December 2023. We were present for that ceremony as well. The newly opened temple is a great strength and blessing to all who reside in its shadow as we do. I started this painting the week before its dedication and finished it the day it re-opened on Dec 14, 2023."
