Notes

"This painting portrays the Quetzaltenango Guatemala Temple. It portrays the sacred value, which, as children of God, we ought to give to the house of the Lord. I hope that observing the solemnity of the temple will cause us to maintain virtuous thoughts and worthy works and be lifted spiritually. This painting invites us to ponder within our hearts upon the desire to arise spiritually in such a way that we make the temple a light that shines in our hearts and is also a standard to the nations. The painting portrays the temple in purity and solemnity, with a majestic background, expressing the relationship that exists between heaven and the house of the Lord."
