Description on website: "Original watercolor Painting of the 70's Hall in old Nauvoo Illinois". Accompanied by the following: "Authentically restored, this historic structure served as a small chapel for worship services, instruction, and lectures. The first Nauvoo library functioned on the upper floor, which now is a museum that features a listing of early Nauvoo Seventies. The Old Seventies Hall in Nauvoo has been restored by the LDS Church to appear as it did during pioneer times. The building was originally used as a small chapel for worship services, instruction, and lectures especially for the quoum of Seventies who served as missionaries for the church. The upper level of the hall was used as Nauvoo’s first library and is now a museum with pioneer relics and artifacts. The museum also exhibits a large journal which contains the names of individuals who served in this group. Among them are some of my own ancestors."
