Jupiter
Artist statement: "This piece is a visual meditation on the unchanging course of divine wisdom, inspired by both scripture and the colossal, unyielding storms of Jupiter. These tempests, some lasting for centuries, serve as a powerful metaphor for God’s unwavering path—motion without deviation, time without end, and wisdom beyond human comprehension. Unlike earthly storms that are fleeting and chaotic, Jupiter’s great vortices exist on a cosmic scale (sometimes larger than the earth itself), reinforcing the idea that what appears turbulent and shifting to mortal eyes is, in reality, part of an ordered and eternal design. The swirling golden hues against the deep blues evoke the interplay between light and mystery, suggesting that God’s intelligence illuminates the vast unknown while remaining firmly anchored in divine constancy. The spiral composition reflects the principle that God’s path is described as neither turning to the right nor left, but as one eternal round. Spirals are found throughout creation—from galaxies to hurricanes—mirroring divine patterns that move yet do not stray from their ordained course. In this sense, the piece embodies the infinite cycle of creation, revelation, and fulfillment, emphasizing that God’s wisdom is neither reactionary nor experimental, but absolute and self-sustaining.
