"This sculpture of President Joseph Fielding Smith characterizes his peaceful attitude, humility, disposition to listen, and prudence. These qualities and others were reflected in his life. He is unique since he is the only Latter–day prophet and Church president who was a son of a prophet. He was also Hyrum Smith's grandson. After the artist was converted to the Church, President Joseph Fielding Smith was the first living prophet that he met."
