Description on website: "Watercolor Painting of the St. George LDS Temple". Accompanied by the following: "I have many requests for paintings of the LDS Temples. Living in St. George Utah, I am most partial to the St. George Temple, but I have only done five major paintings of it over the past 30 years. My objective in painting this view, which is the south side looking east, was to capture the scene we see in our morning walks around the temple as the warm rays of sun begin to cast their shadows on the white walls. IN the foreground I included some of the flowers from the wonderful rose garden where many romances have flourished. It is also significant that this was painting number 1000 in my career and I wanted it to be of a subject matter close to my heart."
