"The temple is the “light” that shines forth throughout the world and provides Church members a “refuge” from the storms of life. The temple is our lighthouse. The storm and waves are the ever-darkening world, filled with temptations. The storm expresses chaos with the random brushstrokes, while the temple is carefully detailed. The waves, lightning storm, and glow around the temple focus the eye always toward the temple. Like a lighthouse, the temple will help guide the children of God to a safe harbor. We must always strive to be worthy to enter the doors of the temple and there receive the blessings of protection and safety from the many temptations that surround us."
