"This painting unites temples, old and new, and explores symbols of the heaven and earth. The Salt Lake Temple reaches heavenward, with the ancient temple of Solomon reflecting below as a shadow of things past. Large concentric circles represent the kingdoms of glory, with their accompanying sun, moon, and star motifs. The pattern on the lower portion of the painting contains the six-pointed star of antiquity, while above, interlaced circles represent generations linked through time. Between the temples is the baptismal font, serving as the entrance gate to the narrow path. In the Lord’s house, His wonderful works are made known to us."
