"Robert D. Roberts (1837–1925) brought this dictionary to Utah in 1856. Roberts and eight members of his family joined 700 Welsh Saints in an overseas voyage aboard the Samuel Curling. On June 24, 1856, Roberts’s family left Iowa City, Iowa, as members of the Bunker handcart company and arrived in Salt Lake City on October 2, 1856, after a 1,300-mile trek."
