Notes

"'Worlds without number have I created; . . . and by the Son I created them' (Moses 1:33). God wants His children to understand their place in the universe. To do so, He showed the great expanse of space to His prophets Moses and Abraham. They were led to understand their nothingness in relation to this great expanse. They were taught that the universe was created for the purpose of glorifying man, and that through obedience to gospel principles and acceptance of sacred covenants, God’s children would have the opportunity to become like Him. This painting depicts the forces developing the initial spin of matter to form a spiral universe."
