In this week’s “Come, Follow Me,” we read about Christ preaching the Sermon on the Mount to a large crowd of people. He shares the most beautiful promises to the people, encouraging them to have hope for the future despite their current trials. These promises are often called ‘The Beatitudes,’ and Christ gave the same promises and blessings when He visited the Nephites in the Book of Mormon. The Bible and the Book of Mormon work together to testify of Jesus Christ and His Gospel. You can read the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes in both Matthew 5, Luke 6, and 3 Nephi 12-14. – Aliza Keller
